Welcome!

Welcome to Everyone’s Joe – An Art Exhibition for Cambodian Children’s Painting Project!

While the event may be over, please continue to check back for updates on online sale of remaining small board paintings!

IT IS THE FIRST U.S. FUNDRAISER FOR THIS INTERNATIONAL NONPROFIT SET RIGHT HERE IN CLEVELAND, OHIO!

The Cambodian Children’s Painting Project will host its first silent auction fundraiser in the United States at The Velvet Dog rooftop bar and patio, located at 1280 W. 6th Street, on Saturday, August 28, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The event will be held in memory of Joe Politzer, a Mentor, Ohio native who passed away in November 2009 in a motorbike accident in Laos.  Politzer became aware of the needs of Cambodian Children’s Painting Project during his time living in Southeast Asia.

The Cambodian Children’s Painting Project is a grass roots organization dedicated to providing means of artistic expression, educational opportunities and basic health services to underprivileged and abused children in Sihanoukville, Cambodia.  The event follows two successful art exhibition tours in Australia and the United Kingdom and is being coordinated by Politzer’s family and friends in the greater Cleveland area.

Over one hundred pieces of the children’s artwork will be on display at the event.  Select 8 x 10 pieces will be available for purchase for $15.  Sixteen large canvases will be available for bidding in the silent auction.

Tickets are $20 and include admission to the event, food and access to a cash bar. Proceeds will support developing the organization’s current facilities into a fully functioning children’s art and education center.
